Mark Jacques General Manager

Mark played college tennis for the Colorado School of Mines, holds a professional 1 rating in USPTA and also is certified by the Professional Tennis Registry. In addition, he is certified as a Personal Trainer by the American Council of Exercise, and has his USTA Sports Science Level 1 certification. Most importantly, Mark has been involved in the tennis industry for over 20 years at clubs in Colorado, Texas, Utah, California, Georgia, Alabama, and St. Thomas/U.S. Virgin Islands.

Brenden Sullinger Coach/Assistant Manager 

Brenden started playing tenis when he was 14, his freshman year in high school. From the start, he was a big fan of the sport and loved the competition. Brenden's wisdom: "proper preparation and positive perception prevent poor performance." Brenden brings this with him every time he steps onto the court whether his is coaching or playing. Brenden is recent graduate from CSU-P with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and will soon move onto a master's degree in Sport Psychology. These pursuits bring a person-centered approach to his coaching style.

Beau Fresquez Coach/Front Desk

Beau is a Pueblo native, playing for South High School and CSU-Pueblo. Beau holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion and Recreation from CSU-P. Beau has worked for non-profits, including the YMCA of Pueblo and the Boy's and Girl's Club of Great Scottsdale. Tennis has been apart of Beau's life since a young boy. Beau held a top 10 USTA Intermountain ranking throughout his youth, 3 time 4A Boy's Highschool Top 4 finishes, 3 years with CSU-P's Men's Tennis team to the NCAA Division 2 Nationals. Now back in Pueblo. Beau has dedicated his time to help grow the passion of tennis.

Christopher Roman Coach

Chris is a long-standing major contributor to tennis in Pueblo. He has been coaching and USPTA certified since 1992. He played #1 singles/Doubles for the University of Southern Colorado. Not only is Chris a great coach and player, he self-published a teaching manual entitled "Tennis Lesson Progression: Building Blocks for Singles & Doubles". HIs strengths include developing strong competitors by stressing the tactics of the game...and better still... his motto. Play to WIN! Continue to play because it's FUN!

Scott ChandlerCoach

Scott brings a wealth of tennis experience to Pueblo as a player, a coach and writer. Scott has personally played and coached a future world #1 in competition, along with holding a #14 national ranking as well as a #3 ranking in the state of Florida. Originally from Chicago, Scott travelled the ITF junior nationals before helping lead a Division II university to a #8 national ranking. After playing professionally Scott directed a junior tennis academy whose students competed against future stars.

Jean Ray Coach 

Jean Ray loves coaching the wee ones at the Pueblo Tennis Center. With a degree in Education, 10 years of experience in child care and 20 years of employment in recreation. Jean believes that sports participation improves everyone's life, the very young and the most mature. Jean started playing tennis in her late 30s as another way to add health enhancing exercise to her busy life. Since then she has been captian of dozens of competitve USTA teams, participated in regional competition in mixed doubles and earned a certificate as a Recreational Tennis Coach. 

Braxton Bedwell Front Desk

Braxton was born and raised in Alabama, but recently moved to Colorado. He is currently going to school at Pueblo Community College for Electro-mechanics. He has been working here at the tennis center for four years now and for these four years he has enjoyed helping people here and plans to do so for as long as he is here! 

Brandon Finegold Front Desk/Coach

​Brandon was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado. He went to Centennial High School and played tennis and baseball. He is currently a sophomore at Colorado State University- Pueblo and is eager to start working hard on his degree, majoring in business.
